Portsmouth, NH – A recently completed DeStefano Architects (D|A) residential design is the cover feature of the January/February 2017 issue of New Hampshire Home Magazine, currently available on newsstands.  The issue focuses on projects of “fine design” and features an image of the residence’s master bedroom on the cover. 

“Ready for a New Century”, the aptly-named article, focuses on the meticulous renovation of an original early-twentieth-century shingle-style home in Portsmouth.

The design’s focus was to restore and update the exterior and breathe new life into the interior to accommodate the homeowner’s brighter, active lifestyle.  The home was delicately renovated from top to bottom while maintaining the original footprint and preserving its historic significance within the community.  Especially noteworthy, the  vintage windows were gracefully restored by a specialty professional.

D|A teamed with K&S Contracting of Portsmouth, Cicely Markoff Interior Design of New London and Woodburn & Company of Newmarket to deliver the well-orchestrated project.
