Tewksbury, MA – Dacon Corporation, along with Diversified Project Management (DPM), recently completed a 66,000sf office/warehousing/production space for Evoqua Water Technologies LLC, a developer and manufacturer of water purification equipment, at 558 Clark Road in Tewksbury.
Evoqua has manufacturing, warehousing, research, and development spaces in Lowell, and this manufacturing project consolidates these function groups into a single building, allowing it to improve upon production and logistics processes.
This project is a renovation of a circa 2003, approximately 88,000sf facility built for a beverage distributor. Evoqua will be using approximately 66,000sf, and will be planning to use this space for office functions, warehousing, production, and assembly progressively over the lease term.
DPM of Newton was the owner’s representative working directly for Evoqua, and the consulting firm of ARGO was retained to provide a facility layout with equipment loads to facilitate the design work.
Dacon Corporation, the Natick-based design-build firm, worked with the project team in developing the process layout and process systems, including water treatment and discharge means and methods. MEP systems were developed by design-build subcontractors.
Evoqua took occupancy of the entire facility on April 15.
