Boston – Copley Wolff Design Group, Inc. (CWDG), a Boston-based landscape architecture and planning firm, recently announced that Becky Rupel has joined the team as a landscape architect.
In her new role, she will contribute to do significant planning and design assignments for both public and private clients. In the past, she has worked on projects ranging from residential design-build work and ecological restoration, to large municipal and multifamily developments.
Prior to joining CWDG, Rupel gained extensive experience at RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture in Austin, Texas, where she worked to deliver successful projects to clients by playing an active role throughout the design process.
“While Copley Wolff continues to shape exciting projects in Boston and beyond, it is important to seek out and engage talented professionals to provide innovative design and efficient delivery to our clients and project partners,” said John Copley, Principal of Copley Wolff Design Group. “We are pleased to welcome Becky. Her high-level of experience and passion for the design industry are sure to make her a valuable addition to our team.”
“Throughout my academic and professional career, I have consistently been motivated by the challenges of complex design problems and by the opportunity to serve a variety of clients, stakeholders, and end users,” commented Rupel. “I see these same values reflected in Copley Wolff Design Group’s projects and I am thrilled to join such a well-respected team.”
Often involved in her community, Rupel has volunteered her spare time working on projects for the Austin Parks Foundation, American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Rupel holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
