Lexington, MA – CTA Construction Managers celebrated the topping off of the new $10.4 million Lexington Children’s Place project. The topping off of the final steel beam marks the end of the structural phase of the project.

The architect is DiNisco Design, Inc., and the owner’s project manager is Construction Monitoring Services.

Lexington Children’s Place is a districtwide preschool that is dedicated to helping young children, with and without disabilities, learn together in an inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

The 19,000sf facility will contain ample classrooms, specialized and flexible spaces, and administration areas. A key feature of the new Lexington Children’s Place facility will be its green, sustainable technology.

Over the course of the project, which began in September, more than 160 tons of structural steel have been installed.
