Crouch-Smith Brings Hired to Assist with Wetland Related Issues

Westfield, MA–Tighe & Bond recently hired Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) Amanda Crouch-Smith to assist its southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod clients with wetlands related challenges and regulations.  As a certified PWS, her credentials include completing a rigorous standard of training and education aimed specifically at wetland systems.

Crouch-Smith has worked previously with many municipalities in Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod implementing a variety of town projects.  This includes wastewater treatment plant upgrades, water supply infrastructure improvements, bike and pedestrian path construction, as well as extensive natural resource and rare species assessments.  She also has provided environmental compliance and permitting services for several municipal airports.

Besides being a licensed PWS and Certified Invasive Species Manager, Crouch-Smith earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wheaton College.  She also has studied Geographic Information Systems.  She is a member of the Society of Wetland Scientists, Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, and Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists.
