Cresa’s New Atlantic Wharf Office Completed

Boston – Cresa recently opened its new office at Atlantic Wharf in Boston’s Waterfront District. The office, located on the 10th floor of the mixed-use tower at 280 Congress Street, offers Cresa closer proximity to Boston’s bustling Innovation District and rapidly expanding Fort Point Channel neighborhood.

Boston-based TRIA provided interior architecture and corporate design services, creating an open, modern, and collaborative workspace that maximizes natural light and spectacular views of Boston Harbor.

The project team included:

  • Interior Architect: TRIA
  • GC: JDL Corporate Interiors
  • MEP: AKF Engineers
  • Lighting Supplier: Reflex Lighting
  • Furniture: Creative Office Pavilion
  • Demountable wall: DIRTT Environmental Solutions
  • Carpet: Shaw Floors

Shifting Cresa’s workspace from a traditional office design to an open office environment, TRIA’s approach was to incorporate a variety of work settings and gathering spaces to create a casual and collaborative office. Glass-fronted offices and clusters of low-walled workstations provide transparency and connection, and technology-enabled collaboration spaces, such as large conference rooms, small huddle areas with standing-height tables, and casual meeting rooms with soft seating, provide plenty of choices for interaction.

Workstations

Situated on the corner of Congress Street and Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic Wharf is easily accessible by public transit and downtown Boston as well as the recreational and cultural attractions of the Greenway. The LEED Platinum-certified building earned the distinction as Boston’s first sustainable high-rise when it was completed in 2011.  Atlantic Wharf is owned by Boston Properties.
