COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Held for Seniors

Boston – Peabody Properties, a group of property management and real estate firms, in conjunction with Whittier Street Health Center, an urban health and wellness center, recently held a vaccine clinic for residents of Roxse Homes and surrounding communities.  The Feb. 26 event resulted in more than 80 people receiving their first dose of the Moderna vaccine.

Whittier Street Health Center directed the clinic held at Roxse Homes, located at 1050 Tremont Street in Boston, by providing the vaccine doses as well as staffing the clinic with three nurses and additional staff members to assist with registration. Sign-ups for the vaccine (based on current state eligibility requirements) was first open to residents of Roxse Homes, a Peabody Properties managed community, and then to residents of other surrounding communities.

Peabody Properties has recently distinguished itself recently by becoming one of the first property management companies to offer COVID vaccination clinics to its senior affordable housing communities throughout the Commonwealth, beginning in January. These clinics have led to the inoculation of more than 4,000 Peabody Properties community residents.
