An independent panel of judges awarded a total of 13 projects from 11 companies for safety, talent, dedication to quality, and innovation. Projects were in New England and completed within the past two years. Five projects exceeded expectations and were recognized with the honor of an“Excellence Award. Eight other projects were each given a Merit Award for their commitments to safety, quality, and innovation.
The DEW Construction Company was honored with the Chairman’s Award for the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, Dartmouth College. Its design incorporated a mixture of unique natural tree formations with modern touches. The logistical hurdles that were overcome as a team were significant and impressive and required an immense amount of planning during the preconstruction phase. The craftsmanship, skill, and expertise required to successfully bring this impressive project to completion was outstanding, start to finish.
