Londonderry, NH – Dellbrook | JK Scanlan announced that it is nearing completion of All American Assisted Living at Londonderry, a new 58,000sf building containing 58 apartments designed for residents aged 55 and older. Hired in 2015 by Kaplan Development Group, LLC, which operates 15 senior living centers in seven states, Dellbrook | JK Scanlan kicked off the project in July 2015 and has now moved into the finish stage in certain areas of the community.

This includes installing exterior siding and landscaping on the exterior and installing flooring and finishes in the first set of units.

“This new community takes a very compassionate approach,” explains Baker. “The vast majority of the units include two bedrooms and are designed to allow couples to remain together should one spouse eventually require more extensive medical attention,” said Andrew Baker, project executive at Dellbrook | JK Scanlan.

Built with a light-gauge metal framing system, All American is designed in traditional New England style and offers residents a range of amenities, including an onsite restaurant, a beauty salon, computer center, an arts and crafts room, and more.

It is expected to reach its target completion date of late May, with the first residents moving in at the beginning of June.

Baker explained, “We were hired by Kaplan based on our track record and the trust we’ve built with them. Before All American, we partnered with Kaplan on five other independent and assisted living projects in various states. We have recently been awarded another All American Assisted Living project in Wareham, Mass which is scheduled to break ground in April.”

The next milestone for the construction team is to complete three model units for public showing and use by the owner’s sales team later in March.

All American meets a growing need for senior living in the southern New Hampshire area and was designed with a new lifestyle concept.
