Torrington, CT – O&G Industries (O&G) recently made a donation to the Susan B. Anthony Project as a part of the company’s Spring Giveback program.
“Susan B. Anthony Project is grateful for the incredibly generous and supportive gift from O&G Industries’ Spring Giveback Program. Providing services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in twenty towns in northwest Connecticut to assure safer options from interpersonal violence for the future of women, men and children, is truly a community effort” stated Executive Director Jeanne Fusco. “For seventeen years, O&G has aided the mission of Susan B. Anthony Project to provide safety, healing and growth for all survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our service area.”
In total, six nonprofit organizations identified and voted on by O&G employees received donations totaling over $40,000 as a part of the initiative. Other organizations identified by O&G employees for donations include Building Homes for Heroes, Connecticut Food Bank, Connecticut Children’s, American Cancer Society and the Connecticut Humane Society.
