South County, RI – Construction started recently on the new Thundermist Health Center in South County.
The Health Center received a Capital Development – Building Capacity Grant from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Vision 3 Architects designed a new building that is being built on the same property occupied by the current health center at 1 River Street in Wakefield.
The 20,000sf new center greatly expands Thundermists’ ability to serve its patients, and includes 21 exam rooms and 10 dental treatment rooms with a 10,000sf parking garage.
Estimated completion date is November 2014.
