Commodore Builders Resumes Construction on Demoulas’ 1265 Main Street Development

Newton, Mass – Commodore Builders, a leading general contractor and construction management firm in Newton, MA, has re-commenced construction on a portion of the 280,000 square foot mixed-use development located at 1265 Main Street in Waltham, MA.

Newton, Mass – Commodore Builders, a leading general contractor and construction management firm in Newton, MA, has re-commenced construction on a portion of the 280,000 square foot mixed-use development located at 1265 Main Street in Waltham, MA. 1265 Main LLC is the developer of the mixed-use plaza. After a two-week demobilization, workers have fully remobilized on site to resume construction on the new Marshalls retail store.

“We have been back on site since Monday, September 30, and our workers are fully engaged in the project,” commented Joe Albanese, Founder and CEO of Commodore Builders.

“We are hoping for a quick resolution to the Demoulas conflict, as they have a great brand and are a great company to work with. We are pleased to be involved in this project with them,” said Albanese.

Additionally, Albanese asserted that the demobilization has in no way affected Commodore Builders’ payments for the project. “Commodore Builders has been paid in full for all of the invoices to date, and all subs have been paid accordingly. We are happy to be back on site and are looking forward to completing the buildings in the new year.”
