Portland, ME – In celebration of its Portland office grand opening, Lavallee Brensinger Architects hosted Laugh the kids “UPTA CAMP,” a comedy event benefiting Camp Susan Curtis.

Camp Susan Curtis is a 40-year-old Maine tradition exclusively for economically disadvantaged boys and girls ages 8 to 17. It serves all 16 Maine counties, and tuition is free for every child.

Jeff Galvin, a senior associate with Lavallee Brensinger, commented, “Volunteering our time and resources to better the communities in which we work, operate, and live is a cornerstone value of the firm. We wanted to continue this tradition as we moved into our new home in Portland.”

Community members, donors, Camp Susan Curtis board members, and area business people were treated with a performance by comedian Bob Marley, a local favorite.
