Carole Wedge to Chair the AIA Large Firm Round Table

Carole C. Wedge

Boston – Carole C. Wedge, FAIA, LEED AP, president of Shepley Bulfinch, has been selected to chair the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Large Firm Round Table (LFRT). Her term as chair commenced on October 15 at the AIA LFRT Fall 2016 meeting in Cuba.

The LFRT mission is to further the special and unique interests of large firms, both national and international, by working together as an independent body as well as with and through the AIA..

Wedge is the fifth chair since the LFRT was founded and the first woman elected to this position. She serves on the board of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA), the Design Futures Council, and the Board of Trustees of both the Wentworth Institute of Technology and the Boston Architectural Center.

She is active in a number of organizations, including Project Kaleidoscop, Educause, the BSA’s Women in Design program, and the Society of College and University Planning (SCUP).
