Cambridge Seven Names Johnson President

Gary Johnson

Cambridge, MA – The board of directors of Cambridge Seven Associates (C7A) announced that Gary C. Johnson, AIA, has assumed the position of president of the firm.

Johnson has been with C7A since 1978 and has actively developed new markets and services for the firm’s clients.

He is currently serving as lead architect, working with collaborating architects Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, on the new 61-story Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences at One Dalton Street in Boston.

He also is leading the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, New Orleans; a new Hilton Hotel in Brookline, Mass.; and Tremont Crossing, a retail and residential center planned for Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood.

 Peter Kuttner, FAIA, who has served as C7A president for the past 16 years, will focus on design for the firm’s museum, education, and exhibit projects.
