Cambridge Architectural Firm Promotes Four

Cambridge, MA – PCA, a Cambridge-based architectural firm, announced the promotions of four team members.

Laura Homich AIA, LEED, AP BD+C joins the principals group following a 13-year tenure at PCA. HR Director Leslie Simpson PHR has been promoted to senior associate. In addition, Frank Smith, AIA and Stephen Banning, AIA, LEED AP BD+C join the management team as associates.

A key member of PCA for the past 13 years, Homich leads some of the firms most high-profile projects from multifamily housing to retail and complex mixed-use developments while also leading PCA’s sustainability and mentoring efforts, encouraging the growth and professional development of designers at the firm.

Simpson has made a major impact on life at PCA. From organizing informational workshops, to negotiating for strong healthcare coverage and organizing social events, she is highly effective at building trust on all levels, helping management create a supportive and collegial environment for everyone.

Frank Smith

Smith has become an integral member of PCA, pushing the firm to new horizons in virtual reality and rendering output that create seamless visions for its clients. He brings a diverse background in psychology, business and construction to the process of design and management, finding imaginative, goal-based solutions to project challenges along the way.

Steve Banning

Banning brings a deep understanding of how buildings come together. He is a teacher in the office, enhancing the quality control processes while managing the planning, documentation and construction administration of a large range of projects from multifamily housing to retail and higher education.
