Building Community Gains Insight From Medical Pros

Middletown, CT- Members and guests of the Connecticut Building Congress (CBC) packed into a conference room at The Inn at Middletown last night to learn about the opportunities in the changing health care sector. Kimberly L. Beauregard, LCSW (President & CEO, Intercommunity, Inc.), John Crane (Director, Growth Strategy Services, ConnStep), and Doug Colter (President, Projex New England, Inc.) presented their perspectives on how to succeed in health care construction projects. The panel seemed to agree that there is real opportunity for companies who can effectively bridge the gap between the needs of the medical staff and the construction process. Creativity and flexibility were the buzzwords for success from last night’s panel.

As part of the Connecticut Building Congress’ ongoing 60th anniversary celebration, Ken Russo from KBE Building was recognized for his longstanding commitment and dedication to the organization and the industry.

The CBC will hold its next program on December 13th at The New Haven Lawn Club as it looks at the award winning Yale University 493 College Street Renovation project and learns tips from the project team.

Long-standing CBC Member John Oliveto, of Fletcher-Thompson. will be honored for his contributions to the industry. All are invited. Register online at www.cbc-ct.org.
