Cambridge, MA – Bruner/Cott & Associates recently received the 2017 AIA COTE Top Ten Award for the R.W. Kern Center at Hampshire College in Amherst.
Designed to be entirely self-sustaining and to meet the rigorous requirements of the Living Building Challenge, the Kern Center aims to make a lasting impression on all who enter. It serves as an admissions and welcome center for staff, students, and their families.
Conferred by the AIA Committee on the Environment, the COTE Award is the industry’s best-known accolade for sustainable design excellence, recognizing 10 innovative projects each year.
