Brett Sherman
New York – Brett Sherman has joined Stantec as a principal based in its New York City office.
In this role, he will focus on expanding the group’s footprint in existing markets — splitting his time between New York and Boston — and developing into new geographies and market sectors.
Sherman joins Stantec with more than a decade of experience in real estate planning, investment, portfolio management, predevelopment coordination, land acquisitions, due diligence, and energy and infrastructure consulting.
Recent initiatives he has managed include coordinating energy, infrastructure, and smart city initiatives for a property portfolio, as well as originating and leading the due diligence and community/government relations for the redevelopment of an infill transit-oriented site.

Sherman will provide market insights, as well as collaboration with other Stantec services and sectors, to help clients maximize the value of their real estate portfolios.
