BRAGB to Host Annual Economic Forecast Dinner

Waltham, MA  – BRAGB, the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston, will hold its Annual Economic Forecast Dinner on January 7th, 2016, at the Newton Marriott in Newton. The gathering is one of BRAGB’s most well-attended events of the year, and will feature research and analysis about the Massachusetts housing market from local and state experts.

Among those to present their outlook will be featured speaker David Crowe, Ph.D., Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Crowe is responsible for identifying and forecasting economic and housing trends, conducting market research, analyzing the homebuilding industry and consumer preferences, and reviewing microeconomics of government policies that effect housing.

Apart from helping to kick-off the New Year with leading industry insight, the Annual Economic Forecast Dinner will also serve as a platform for BRAGB to announce its new officers and directors, who will lead the organization in 2016. Massachusetts Public Safety Commissioner, Matt Carlin, will swear-in each of the leaders and welcome them to BRAGB. The night will conclude with a Presidential Address by current BRAGB President, Bob Ernst, of FBN Construction.

“The Annual Economic Forecast is a shining example of BRAGB’s commitment to providing its members and industry professionals with the very best insight into market conditions and trends that could have an effect on their businesses,” said Lorraine DeVaux, Chief Executive Officer at BRAGB. “We anticipate a great event and attendance this year, and look forward to welcoming our new officers and directors, who will effectively lead our growing organization to continued success throughout 2016.”

Registration for the Annual Economic Forecast Dinner will begin at 5:30pm, at which time guests are invited to network and discuss the topics of the night. Following dinner at 6:30pm, subject matter experts will begin to present their analysis to those in attendance. Board members will also be available for a Q&A session throughout the night.
