Watertown, MA – Marco DiRenzo and John S. O’Leary have recently been named Principal at Bard, Rao + Athanas Consulting Engineers, LLC (BR+A) a Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineering firm based in Watertown, Massachusetts.
Mr. DiRenzo joined BR+A in 1986 and has completed the design of many large healthcare projects nationwide, including the new Replacement Facility for Denver Children’s Hospital and the New Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Mr. DiRenzo has recently been designated Managing Principal for the Company’s new office in Miami, Florida.
Mr. O’Leary joined the firm in 1990 and primarily focuses on electrical engineering design for healthcare and institutional research clients for BR+A. The majority of Mr. O’Leary’s recent success has stemmed from on-going projects, both large and small, at Children’s Hospital Boston, the University of Rochester Medical Center and the New Medical Pavilion at Duke University Medical Center.
Michael Benjamin has also been promoted to Associate Principal at BR+A. Mr. Benjamin has been with BR+A since 2002 and is currently working as Project Manager for the new VA Hospital Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana – a 1.6 Million SF, 7-building campus development to replace the facility lost during Hurricane Katrina.
