Boston – The Bulfinch Companies (Bulfinch), a private real estate investment, development and management firm, recently participated in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge (Corporate Challenge), a philanthropic event held annually at the Boston Common. On June 20, Bulfinch was one of 365 companies to participate in the event.

The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is a worldwide series of 3.5 mile running events, open to groups of full-time employees from companies throughout the city. Bulfinch had five employees participate in the annual Boston event.

The Corporate Challenge takes place in 13 cities across seven countries and five continents, with the Boston event now in its 25th year. In 2019, 9,000 entrants from 365 companies participated in the Boston race, which sold out.

Companies who participate in the events use the Corporate Challenge as a platform to promote health and fitness within their organizations. Each year, JP Morgan implements sustainable operations initiatives, designed to make the Corporate Challenge the world’s greenest road race.

The Corporate Challenge strives to make donations to not-for-profit organizations in each host city. In 2019 in Boston, the philanthropic donation was made to The Every Child Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital for the third consecutive year.
