Boston – TRIA, a partner-led architecture firm with a focus on designing unique spaces for science, technology, and corporate clients, announced that three new project managers have joined the firm. TRIA welcomes Edwin Hargrave, AIA as senior project manager/senior lab planner, Philip Lee, IIDA, NCIDQ as project manager, and Lino A. Mancini, AIA, LEED AP as project manager.
Hargrave has more than 30 years of experience planning, designing, and managing complex science facilities for discovery-based research and learning. As a laboratory planner, he has led numerous multi-million dollar projects from programming through construction to successful completion. As a project manager, Hargrave embraces a collaborative, consensus-driven approach that is inclusive of all stakeholders throughout the process. He is well-versed in the rigorous process that technically complex projects require at all levels and phases of design and construction.
Lee brings more than 25 years of experience working on a range of building types, including corporate, hospitality, higher education, and healthcare. Across the board, from large-scale, out-of-the-ground cancer centers to small corporate interior fit-outs, he focuses on designing innovative, purposeful and holistic environments that encourage creativity and productivity.
Mancini joins TRIA with more than 19 years of professional experience and a particular focus on tenant fit-outs of office and lab spaces for life sciences companies. As a project manager, he is involved in all aspects of the design process from schematic design through construction administration. He understands the importance of managing his projects, and making sure that there is clear communication and coordination between the project team, consultants, and the client.
