Boston – BOND, a 108-year-old construction management and general contracting firm, recently hired former State Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) Director of Design and Construction Michael Lambert as project executive.

In Lambert’s previous role at DCAMM, he led the agency’s design and construction office, managing a portfolio of public work valued at more than $1 billion in the last several years alone. During his 26-year tenure, he delivered construction projects for the Massachusetts State University and Community College systems and the University of Massachusetts. He also played a major role in planning and executing significant projects for the state’s courthouse, prison, and hospital systems.

Lambert played a leadership role in transitioning DCAMM from a public low bid delivery model to a CM at Risk delivery model, spearheading the development of written guidelines and a road map for CM at Risk public procurement.

As a project executive at BOND, Lambert will contribute expertise from his many years of public and academic sector planning and construction to support BOND’s long-range growth in the academic market.

Lambert previously held the titles of assistant director in the Office of Design and Construction; deputy director in the Office of Facilities Management; and project manager in the Office of Project Management at DCAMM, and worked as chief engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Environmental Management.

“With his extensive background at DCAMM, Mike brings additional experience in managing large academic projects to BOND,” said Robert Murray, BOND president.
