Pam Goodman

Brighton, MA – B’nai B’rith Housing and B’nai B’rith International presented the 2014 Distinguished Achievement Award to Pam Goodman, resident of Beacon Communities Development LLC, at a recent annual awards dinner.

Goodman oversees operations at Beacon Communities Development and supervises transactions from initial conception through rent-up and occupancy. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of B’nai B’rith Housing, whose mission is to produce nonsectarian housing, both affordable and mixed-income in communities located in and around Greater Boston.

Goodman is also active in organizations working to create employment opportunities for adults with cognitive disabilities, and she is a former board member of Arc of Greater Boston. She is a former member of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies Disabilities Housing Implementation Advisory Committee.

She served as an elected official on the board of the Brookline Housing Authority for 15 years and  is cochair of the Housing Committee of Hebrew Senior Life, a not-for-profit housing and health care provider and research center that is an affiliate of the Harvard Medical School.
