Bill Silver Announces Retirement

William R. Silver

Hamden, CT – William R. Silver, a founding principal of Silver, Petrucelli & Associates, Inc. (SP+A) has announced his retirement effective Dec. 31 following a career that spans over 40 years of service to the architecture profession.

Silver co-founded Silver, Petrucelli & Associates with architect Dean Petrucelli in 1991 with the goal of making the firm a dedicated design partner in Connecticut.  The partnership that began over breakfast at White’s Diner in Bridgeport has grown into a firm of 48 architects, engineers and interior design professionals and offices in Hamden and New London.

The planned transition of the firm’s leadership has been in place for several years with co-founder Dean Petrucelli taking over leadership of the firm along with principals David Stein, Robert Banning, Amanda Cleveland and Christopher Nardi.

As Silver transitions to a principal emeritus role with the firm, he expects to support SP+A as much or as little as is needed beyond retirement. He will be celebrated early next year by the staff he has managed, trained and mentored through the years along with close colleagues and friends.
