Manchester, NH – BETA Group, Inc., an Engineering and Landscape Architecture firm headquartered in Rhode Island, recently announced their newest office has opened in Manchester, New Hampshire. This expansion comes on the heels of another year of significant growth for the company, which provides consulting engineering and landscape architecture services to clients and has three other offices in New England. Increased capabilities, coupled with greater demand for services in New Hampshire and northern New England, prompted the search for an office that would be better situated to provide service to clients in this region.
Office space has been secured, and Tony Puntin, P.E. has been hired to lead the effort to spread awareness of BETA and our capabilities in New Hampshire and northern New England. Tony has been a resident of Concord, NH for over 18 years. Throughout his 22 year professional career, he has worked in the Civil Engineering industry with a focus on transportation-related design and project management. With his passion, enthusiasm and expertise, Tony is the ideal candidate to spread awareness of BETA and the company’s capabilities in northern New England.
Tony is a 1992 graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont and has obtained DBIA (Design Build Institute of America) Professional status. He is a past president of the New Hampshire Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), served on ASCE’s National Board of Direction, and is currently a member of several ASCE National committees. He is currently a member of National Society of Professional Engineers and has served on the UMass Amherst Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Council since 2010. Tony is also the Executive Director for the Boston Society of Civil Engineers. His involvement in engineering has recently expanded to academia as he will be an adjunct professor this spring at Merrimack College teaching a Professional Development and Ethics class.
BETA will be offering services in all areas of expertise to their clients in the region – Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, the Environmental Sciences, Geographic Information Systems, Landscape Architecture/Urban Design, Structural Engineering and Transportation & Traffic Engineering. The company already has established strong working relationships with several cities and towns in New Hampshire, and hopes that this office will allow BETA to better provide services throughout the state.
