BETA Adds Staff to Manchester Office

Manchester, NH– Jason Plourde, PE, PTP, NH LPA  recently joined BETA Group, Inc. as a Project Manager in the Manchester, NH office. Mr. Plourde has over 21 years of experience in the permitting of land development and transportation planning projects. His expertise includes traffic impact studies, corridor studies, transportation planning, access management, traffic calming and complete streets. Mr. Plourde also has extensive knowledge regarding parking evaluations, and municipal peer reviews. He is effective in providing representation before governmental agencies, as well as for neighborhood groups and Land Court testimony.

 

Mr. Plourde holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a member of several professional affiliations including the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the New Hampshire Planners Association, and the Bike-Walk Alliance of New Hampshire. He is actively involved in the Milford, NH communities, serving on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, and Economic Development Advisory Council.

 

BETA is also pleased to announce the addition of Christopher Turgeon, PE, LEED Green Assoc., ENV SP to the Manchester office. Mr. Turgeon has been with BETA for seven years, and has experience in a broad range of projects involving transportation and civil design, pavement management, site/construction inspections, and construction cost estimating. His relocation from the Norwood, MA office to the Manchester, NH office bolsters the firm’s ability to provide a full range of comprehensive services to clients in northern New England.

 

Mr. Turgeon holds a Professional Engineer license in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and is also certified as a LEED Green Associate, an Envision Specialist, and Soil Evaluator. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
