Rebecca Berry
Boston – Finegold Alexander Architects recently announced that Rebecca Berry AIA, principal and director of sustainable design, has been elected by her peers to serve as secretary of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Board of Directors for a one-year term.
Berry served a three-year term as co-chair of the BSA’s Women-In-Design Mentoring Sub-Committee and is a former member of AIA Mass. Governmental Affairs Committee.
“I am honored to be elected to this position and, as a member of the board, will seek to deepen the BSA’s ability to advocate for and promote our profession and membership. The public should understand how we help to better society in relation to sustainability and social equity, and I hope to further that cause,” said Berry.

Berry, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is a principal, director of sustainable design, and leads the higher education and municipal practice areas at Finegold Alexander Architects.
She has more than 15 years of experience managing a variety of higher education, civic, and residential projects, including: Boston University’s Kilachand Hall, the Alice K. Wolf Center in Cambridge, The Royal luxury housing development in Boston, and the B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim Synagogue in Deerfield, Illinois. She is a volunteer and former Americorps member, and served as a designer and construction supervisor with Habitat for Humanity in the United States and abroad.
