Avison Young Reps Mobile Heartbeat in Lease Deal at University Office Park

Boston, MA — Avison Young has successfully brokered a 6,375 square-foot (sf) plug-and-play lease at 2 University Office Park in Waltham, MA.

Avison Young Principal Kevin Malloy represented the tenant, Mobile Heartbeat LLC. Senior Managing Director Drew Nelson of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the landlord, Direct Invest LLC.

Previously located at 444 Washington Street in Woburn, MA, Mobile Heartbeat consolidates clinical communications to increase staff efficiency, increase revenue and lower costs while improving patient care. The company mission aligns with President Barack Obama’s Healthcare initiatives to cut healthcare costs using technology. Most recently, the company launched its Clinical Urgent REsponse (CURE) mobile application for secure smartphones to provide real-time updates to all clinical team members inside and outside the hospital.

“The plug-and-play opportunity was ideal for Mobile Heartbeat as the firm continues to grow,” comments Malloy. “The existing build-out and furniture will save the company time and money as it expands into this new facility.”

University Office Park comprises two buildings totaling 275,000 sf and offers a full-service cafeteria, conferencing facility and fitness center. Tenants of both buildings can enjoy full use of Brandeis University’s Faculty Club and health facilities, which include: tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, running track, conference center facilities, faculty guest lodging, meeting rooms and libraries. The building location provides access to local shops and restaurants on well-known Moody Street located two miles away.

“Kevin worked with us to understand our needs for new space to support our rapid growth,” says Ron Remy, Chief Executive Officer at Mobile Heartbeat. “This new office provides the perfect environment to reinforce and support our innovative and collaborative culture.”
