AGC MA to Attend White House STEM Summit

Washington, D.C. – AGC MA recently announced that Fran Colantonio, president of Colantonio, Inc,. AGC BOD vice chair; and Stacy Roman, sr. PM of Commodore Builders and BWiC chair; were recently nominated by the Charlie Baker Administration for their leadership efforts in STEM education and bringing a critical perspective towards aligning state and federal STEM policies and programs.

The official invitation to attend the State-Federal STEM Summit in Washington, D.C. hosted by The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on June 25 to 26 was extended to both Colantonio and Roman from Jeff Weld, senior policy advisor and assistant director, STEM education.

Lt. Governor Karyn Polito recommended them as one of three Massachusetts leaders to represent industry involved in school‐business partnerships.

Alongside more than 150 like-minded colleagues from states, territories, and tribes across the nation, they will contribute to an unprecedented conversation to shape federal support for STEM and to form a community of state STEM leaders that will have an enduring legacy.
