AGC Hosts Architect Discussion on Change in the Design Community

discussionWellesley, MA – AGC of Massachusetts will host a discussion by leading architects about the challenges faced by design firms today. More direct fabrication and modularization of components are streamlining both the design and construction fields. The panel will discuss how these process changes, and the more aggressive use of technology and the quick timeline-to-design, are refining their profession.

The discussion will take place on February 24 at the Metro Meeting Center, 101 Federal Street, Boston beginning at 8:30 a.m. with coffee from 7:30 a.m. These and other trends will be discussed by Frederick Kramer, president ADD Inc. and vice president, Commercial US at Stantec; Debi McDonald, architect/planner, NBBJ; and Daniel Perruzzi, Jr., AIA, LEED AP, principal, Margulies Perruzzi. Frank Hayes, executive vice president, BOND, will moderate the group.
