Acella to Build Friendship HQ

Norwell, MA – Acella Construction Corporation has been selected to build the new headquarters for Friendship Home, located in Norwell.  The facility will provide respite care and will include office space and an activity center where people with developmental disabilities can participate in day or evening activities.
The center will also serve as a central location for the group’s Friendship Clubs that have about 65 members who meet in Quincy, Duxbury, and Norwell for social activities and community service projects.
“Being a Norwell resident, I realize how important this type of project is to the community, and we’re excited to give co-founders Wilma Goodhue and Joan Mullare the facility they’ve been dreaming of for so long, said David Dirubbo, President of Acella Construction.”
Construction of the 14,000sf project is scheduled to begin immediately, and will be completed in the spring of 2010.  The project was designed by David Dunlap of Dunlap & Associates, located in Norwell.
