Wompatuck Warriors
Pembroke, MA – Acella Construction Corporation, a leader in construction management and now celebrating its 15th year in operation, recently announced its ongoing partnership with the Wompatuck Warriors Youth Mountain Biking Group. Dave Dirubbo, president of Acella, has been involved since the inception of the Wompatuck Warriors in March 2017. He just completed his second year serving as an assistant coach of the group.
Additionally, Acella Construction Corporation sponsors the group and provides a trailer to transport race-day supplies, bikes, and spare equipment for the team’s events, as well as provides additional supplies and equipment as needed.
The Wompatuck Warriors has a total of 36 kids, ranging in age from 7th to 12th grade and from towns ranging from Plymouth to Quincy, with a concentration of children from Norwell and Hingham. They meet three times a week until the six-week racing season, during which the team competes every Saturday around New England.
