North Branch Completes Two Projects

NH Army National Guard FMS Classroom

Hooksett, NH –  North Branch Construction recently completed a new, $10 million Field Maintenance Shop for the New Hampshire Army National Guard  consisting of a 27,200sf field maintenance building and a separate 2,435sf metal storage building.

The building, designed by Smith Alvarez Sienkiewycz Architects of Burlington, Vt, includes a six-bay garage with overhead crane maintenance capabilities, a drive-through wash bay, a tool storage room, offices, classrooms, and gym and shower facilities. The scope of work also included major site improvements.

The new facility, currently obtaining LEED certification, has combined the Manchester and Hillsborough field maintenance shops into one location to support the maintenance and repair of combat and tactical vehicles..

Shooter’s Outpost Training Space

North Branch  also completed an addition to Shooter’s Outpost, less than a mile up the road from the Army National Guard building.

The over-14,000sf, three-level structural steel addition with real log siding and corners, doubles the size of the existing building, featuring high-vaulted ceilings and exposed interior beams. The new space provides a  display area, increased retail space, a café with commercial kitchen, employee offices, training space, new bathrooms, and inventory storage.

North Branch Construction partnered with Cowan and Goudreau Architects of Concord on this Design-Build project.
