Boston Architecture Firm Featured On “World’s Greatest…” TV Show

Boston – The work of Behnisch Architekten is the exclusive focus of a new television show, part of a series produced by How2Media. “World’s Greatest!…” is a thirty-minute program that highlights the companies, products, places, and people that are making a difference in the way we live. More than a dozen of Behnisch Architekten’s projects are featured in the show, illustrating the firm’s leadership in the educational, civic, and multifamily residential sectors, as well as its expertise in sustainability.

Featuring behind-the-scenes footage and informative interviews with Behnisch principals and designers, the episode is airing March 5 on DirecTV channel 305 and Dish Network channel 250.

“To see so much of our portfolio brought to life is exciting,” said Robert Matthew Noblett, partner-in-charge of Behnisch Architekten’s Boston office. “The video format animates much of the dramatic spatial qualities of the buildings, and provides a new perspective from which to experience the architecture.”

Gordon Freeman, Executive Producer of “World’s Greatest!…”, said, “We think the story of Behnisch Architekten will be meaningful as well as educational to our viewers.” How2Media sent a film crew to document one of Behnisch’s current projects, The John and Frances Angelos Law Center at the University of Baltimore, to help tell the story of the 25-year-old firm, which works collaboratively out of studios in Boston, Stuttgart, and Munich to create contemporary architecture that is functional and inspiring.
