Charlestown, MA – Catamount Management Corporation recently completed upgrades to a 1.7 million sf industrial building, newly renamed Hood Park. Originally home to H.P. Hood and Sons, the site now offers an alternative to Cambridge and downtown Boston for companies seeking contemporary and flexible work space.
The 20-acre campus is undergoing comprehensive improvements, transforming buildings into distinctive, Class A office and research and development space in the heart of Boston’s vibrant Charlestown neighborhood.
Fusion Design Consultants Inc. was responsible for the new lobby design and additional amenity spaces, including a gym facility and café at the 500 Rutherford Ave Building. The general contractor was RedStar Construction.
“Fusion’s creative and thoughtful vision for our lobby renovation has been extremely well received by our tenants, and it continues to make a striking impression on visitors,” said Chris Kaneb, owner and vice president at Catamount.
Fusion also helped implement a campuswide wayfinding and signage package to help tenants navigate the 20-acre campus.
