John F. Fish Named Boston Chair of Federal Reserve Board

Washington, DC – The Federal Reserve Board recently announced the designation of the chairs and deputy chairs of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks for 2016.

Each Reserve Bank has a nine-member board of directors. The Board of Governors in Washington appoints three of these directors and each year designates one of its appointees as chair and a second as deputy chair.

The Boston chair and deputy chair designated by the board for 2016 are John F. Fish, chairman and chief executive officer of Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., Boston, chair; and Gary L. Gottlieb, M.D., chief executive officer of Partners In Health, Boston, deputy chair.
