South Shore Millwork Award Winner

Boston – MassEcon, the state’s private sector partner in promoting business growth in Massachusetts, announced its Twelfth Annual Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Award winners.

South Shore Millwork of Norton received the Bronze award in the Southeast sector for investing $7 million in a 47,000sf expansion in Norton while adding 17 jobs which included craftsmen, engineers, project managers, installers, and office staff.

Seventeen companies were selected on the basis of job growth, facility expansion, investment, and community involvement since Jan. 1, 2014.

The winners were honored at a luncheon at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, with an address by Governor Charles D. Baker. Citizens Bank was presenting sponsor.
