Boston – Today Plumbers Local 12 and the Greater Boston Plumbing Contractors Association (GBPCA) have joined forces with plumbers911.com to bring top-notch plumbing service to the residential and commercial markets across Eastern Massachusetts. For 125 years, these organizations have helped to provide the plumbing infrastructure of the greater Boston area.

Now with plumbers911.com, Boston becomes the eighth city in the country to offer the services of experienced contractors and plumbers to local consumers.

“This partnership streamlines training, customer skills, and the professionalism that will complement what our contractors already do,” said Hugh Kelleher, director of the GBPCA.

Plumbers Local 12 training facility is located at 1240 Massachusetts Ave. in Boston and provides its members the most state-of-the-art training that is available to plumbers in Massachusetts.

“We have an education budget that is in excess of $1 million a year,” said Harry Brett, business manager of Local 12. “We provide training to our plumbers and apprentices in every aspect of our industry and our contractors, as well as the consumer, are the direct beneficiaries.”
