Boston – Boston Global Investors (BGI) announced that 10 World Trade, located in Boston’s Seaport District, has received the East Coast’s first Double Platinum WiredScore and SmartScore Certification.
The 555,250sf, 17-story lab/research and development building, offering Class A office space, has already achieved a SITES Pre-Certification and is targeting LEED Gold. The project includes a comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) program, with BGI’s MWBE partners at Cogsville Capital Group and Bastion Companies overseeing the project’s goals for MWBE participation throughout each phase of the project.
WiredScore, which provides rigorous evaluation of a building’s technological and environmental capabilities, awarded the Double Platinum Certification to 10 World Trade in recognition of its unmatched commitment to digital connectivity, resilience, and sustainability.
“Receiving the Double Platinum Certification from WiredScore is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible environment for our tenants,” said John Hynes IV, vice president at BGI. “We understand the vital role that connectivity and sustainability play in today’s dynamic business landscape, and we are proud to have achieved this milestone.”
“10 World Trade is an exemplary model of what it means to be a digitally connected and environmentally responsible building,” said Arie Barendrecht, CEO and founder at WiredScore. “This Double Platinum Certification signifies that the building is at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry, meeting the highest standards for digital connectivity and sustainability.”
