Julia Rogers
Boston – Julia Rogers, LEED AP BD+C, CSM, has joined the Vanderweil Engineers sustainability and energy department as a senior sustainability designer, specializing in working with project teams to integrate sustainability and energy efficiency into projects from the beginning of a design project on thru operations.
She previously worked with DTZ, creating sustainability programs for clients and developing energy and sustainability metrics using predictive maintenance software and modeling. Prior to joining DTZ, Julia served as sustainability designer for the Department of Facilities at the Mass. Institute of Technology . During that time, Rogers facilitated and implemented energy efficiency programs, brokered partnerships in energy reduction with the local utility company, executed measurement and verification methods for projects on campus and managed the LEED certification process. During her career, she has authored papers that cover commissioning, building analytics, energy ISO standards and legislation
