Farmington, CT – KBE Building Corp. has earned a second award for its 2014 safety performance — the 2014 CCIA Safety Recognition award from the Connecticut Construction Industries Association (CCIA).
Earlier this year, KBE was awarded the “Best of Best General Contractor” Safety Award at the Associated Builders and Contractors, Connecticut Chapter’s (CT ABC) Annual Excellence in Construction Awards program.
The Connecticut Construction Industries Association’s (CCIA) Safety Recognition Program is designed to help construction companies either establish or enhance a construction safety and health program by recognizing the safety achievements of its members.
CCIA’s Safety Recognition Awards Program follows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) guidelines, which require a safety and health program to include the following components:
- Correction of violations and noncompliance.
- Employee training.
- Management involvement.
- Safety hazard analysis.
