Norwell, Mass – Acella Construction Corporation recently announced the promotion of Scott Brash of Cohasset to the position of Senior Superintendent.

Brash, who has been with Acella for nearly five years, first joined the firm as a project superintendent. His promotion was announced by Acella Construction founder and President Dave Dirubbo, who said, “Scott exemplifies what a superintendent should be. He is a go-getter, never says no to a client, and takes on whatever needs to be done. And he brings the work in on time and under budget. We are very pleased to have him in this expanded role.”

Brash, a native of Hingham, MA will oversee the work of Acella’s eight field superintendents, on a variety of diverse construction projects.  His experience spans a number of industry verticals, and he typically works on the company’s more complicated projects, requiring new building as opposed to quick makeover. He has worked with Boston College and MIT as two examples.

Prior to joining Acella, Brash was a project superintendent with Shawmut Design and Construction, Boston. The Hingham High School graduate also studied at University of Massachusetts Boston prior to working in the field of construction. In his time away from the office, he enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer projects. One of his favorites is the Appalachia Service Project, where he is part of a team that took 100 children to places including Kentucky and West Virginia where they work on houses to help people in need.

He resides in Cohasset with his wife Amy, and children Christopher, Olivia and Michael.
